The Principal and Vice Principal will like to update all that in 2020, there will be more value added facilities for our staff, students and their parents. Here is the bird’s eye view of the Honsbridge premise expansion. As the school premises are being renovated for the expansion and improvement, there will be areas that need immediate attention and repair, please capture such area with photographs and share the information to Mr Tan, Ms Hang or Ms Diana as soon as possible.
The principal prays for all students and staff to have a HEALTHY lifestyle in 2020. It means students and staff carry out their learning and activities carefully at school. Is vaping or smoking a healthy habit? Is having or using drug accepted in school? Is running not during PE time safe? Is playing with doors such as opening and shutting the door safe to do so? Stop and think before you do something that will injure self and others. The principal will like everyone to remember what is the best thing to have in 2020. Is it the Iphone 10 or the latest Samsung S11 or what have you. It’s GRATITUDE, to feel grateful for what you have, for your friends, family, the school and teachers and staff who support you at Honsbridge. How to show your gratitude? Give more understanding, patience and help your fellow Honsbridge friends, teachers and staff, friends and family. Imagine many handicaps and the poor lead a happy life because they are grateful for the immense love and support from their family and friends. The principal also asks that students and staff not be afraid to ask for forgiveness and to make up for their mistakes. REPENTANCE is very hard for many of us. Who has a big ego? Who feels it is very hard to admit one’s mistake. I wish everyone is brave to admit your mistakes and improve on it. Let everyday be a new day, we can start over every day and be a better version each day. Forget your homework? Accept it is your mistake and be responsible for it. You lied and stole something? Accept the consequences and learn from it.
Honsbridge Chinese New Year celebration will be held on the 21 Jan during enrichment, all students and staff shall attend school in their festive costumes. Students and their parents are welcome to contribute CNY food and goodies for the school’s celebration. The arrangement of the celebration will be announced on next Tues assembly.
