This is the beginner class for students starting their learning journey for the very first time. In the safe, secure and dedicated Honsbridge Preschool Premises, our teachers will cultivate our students to love learning through play and playing to learn. Our students also receive strong pastoral care to become compassionate, responsible, humble and respectful learner. Hence, the students graduate with a strong recognition of characters and alphabets, listening, speaking of three main languages such as English, Mandarin and Bahasa. Their motor skills and competency to pick up new skills in sports are heightened ready for their next level.
This is an intermediate class where our students receive progressive speaking, writing and reading in the recognition of common English, Mandarin and Bahasa words. Our teachers engage and equip the students with tools to extend their learning through Mathematics, Art and Craft, Science Music and Physical Education classes. Students will learn through play with higher intensity than play to learn.
This is the most exciting class where our students have confidence to pursue higher order thinking puzzles and problem solving quizzes in English, Mandarin and Bahasa. They will increase their confidence in spelling of common words and characters through show, tell and write presentations. You will find our graduates have a strong reading competency in these languages. Our students will gain high numeracy thinking skills to solve mathematical problems preparing them well for the Primary education.
The Cambridge Early Years Programme is the start of your child’s exciting journey in education. Following a holistic approach that is focused on the whole child, the programme connects their development with the world and the people around them.
Communication through speaking, listening, reading and writing is important to a child’s early development. Through fun activities, they are encouraged to engage with a wide range of topics that illustrate the importance of language and how to communicate in different environments and situations. Not just the English Language but also Malay and Mandarin will be taught by our Teachers.
