Orientation Day is a yearly event organised by Honsbridge International to welcome and acclimate all students, existing and new. Due to the pandemic, the event is conducted virtually whereby everyone can access from either Google Meet or Facebook live on 5 January 2021.
From this event, everyone, students, parents, teachers and staff, were able to know more about everything school-related. Matters related to COVID-19 SOPs to Students’ Handbook were highlighted for all students’.
In the second session, all students had the chance to be grouped with their respective homeroom teachers. The dedicated homeroom teachers have taken the opportunity to prepare and conduct interesting ice breaking sessions with their respective homeroom students, allowing them to understand each other better. Besides that, various insightful information has been shared, namely the school’s academic calendar as well as important dates like their upcoming examination and Continuous Assessment (CA) dates
Despite being a virtual event, many expressed their gratefulness and happiness for being able to stay connected throughout this unprecedented time.
